Interesting article indeed. I do agree that Gameplay > Graphics applies in most cases, yet with something like Heavy Rain I think the amazing graphics lend themselves to the immersion of the experience. Can't wait for it.
You're right Sticky Date, it is unfortunate but it is part of business, especially in this economic climate. The sad thing is, these lay-offs become nothing but numbers, people forgot that these are all people trying to make a living and likely supporting families.
Don't forget Bioshock came out for the PS3 recently, obviously boosting the money earned, hence the discrepancy in Take Two's profits between consoles.
The statements above are exactly why N4G has been going down the gurgler, everyone justifies their illogical and ridiculous statements because the 'opposition' does the same. I say don't stoop to their level, fanboy's feed on stirring people up, if you don't retaliate then they should go back to the dark hole they crawled out of.

The ATB system used in FFX is (in my opinion) the greatest turn-based system used in a JRPG. If 13 even remotely resembles that of 10's combat (which by the sounds of it, it does) then we are in for a treat.

I don't understand why they can't spread at least some of the titles out across the year, I know Holiday sales are big but then you run the risk of your game getting buried...
Well I know I can't personally buy even half the new games and that is only between the 360 and the Wii, don't know what I would do If I had a PS3 as well.

MGS4 is a must play game for any gamer. As explained in the list, the presentation, graphics, sound etc are all of the highest quality.
mm.... MS are really trying to go for the 'family' demographic lately. There are quite a few good games amongst that list.

Agree Taro, those games, whilst not visually amazing will be some of the top '09 games. Can't wait for them.
